She Is Right on Point — Hallmark's Brava Ballerina Captures Barbie Mid-Pirouette With Both Hands on Her Waist

Brava, Ballerina! is the 2012 Hallmark Keepsake Barbie ballerina ornament — one of the annual series of ballerina Barbie figures that Hallmark produced across the late 2000s and early 2010s. This edition shows Barbie in a pink and orange gradient tutu, standing en pointe with one leg raised and both hands at the waist in a classical pose. The handcrafted resin figure has a sparkling pink bodice with floral petal detail, coral-orange tulle tutu layers at the skirt, and pink pointe shoes. Sculpted by Julie Forsyth, dated 2012.

The Hallmark ballerina Barbie ornaments were produced annually in this period with each year offering a different pose, costume colour and tutu style — the 2012 Brava, Ballerina edition is distinguished by the coral-to-pink gradient and the two-hands-on-waist pose, which gives it a more classical silhouette than some of the arm-extended versions in the same series. The title is the Italian direction given to a female ballet dancer receiving applause at the curtain call.
