Ireland Barbie comes in the Passport Collection trunk-style green box with gold detailing and an Ireland luggage tag — part of the generation of DOTW releases that replaced the window box with travel luggage, a packaging shift that gave the series a completely new identity and brought back the spirit of the original 1985 travel kits.

The Irish Setter tucked alongside her is one of Ireland's three national dog breeds — alongside the Irish Wolfhound and the Kerry Blue Terrier — developed in the 18th century specifically for bird hunting across the boggy Irish countryside. As accessory choices go, it is considerably more researched than most, and it gives a 4.5-inch dog a level of historical specificity that most full-scale toys never achieve.
