Dorothy Followed the Yellow Brick Road Into the Pink Label Series and Brought Toto

The 2006 Pink Label Dorothy is the girl from Kansas in her iconic blue gingham dress, ruby slippers, and white pinafore — with Toto in his basket, completing one of the most immediately recognisable costume combinations in film history. The Pink Label series gave the Wizard of Oz characters the collector-quality treatment they warranted. The basket lining has come unstuck and would re-affix easily with glue; she has one sock and a small mark on her dress, all visible in the photographs.

Dorothy is the character who anchors the Wizard of Oz story and the Pink Label release reflects that — the costume detail is stronger here than in any of the other characters in the series, which makes sense given what she is carrying.
