Kelly Easterrific Cheery Chick is a 2000 Special Edition — the third entry in an assortment that delivered the three essential Easter archetypes in a single go: the Funny Bunny, the Easter Best, and the Cheery Chick. The chick is the one who just hatched and is genuinely delighted about the whole situation, which is the correct energy for a yellow plush body suit with an orange beak hood.

The Easterrific line used egg-shaped blister card packaging with the Easterrific pastel swirl backdrop across the entire assortment, which gives a complete set a satisfying visual consistency on a shelf. The Cheery Chick, with her orange legs and small yellow feet, is the most immediately readable of the three at a glance — there is only one possible interpretation of the orange beak hood.
