The 1998 Oscar de la Renta collaboration produced a doll in a chocolate-brown and gold lace gown that captures the designer's instinct for richness without excess — structured, warm, and clearly the work of someone who understood how fabric moves. It is one of the more restrained entries in the designer series, which makes it one of the more enduring ones.

Oscar de la Renta dressed first ladies, film stars, and Barbie, which is a career trajectory that very few people have managed and none have managed quite so gracefully.

Please note: This doll was sourced from a collection that was stored with mothballs to prevent insect damage. There is a faint odour, however the doll is pristine.
