The Halloween Party Barbie and Ken Gift Set from 1998 is a Target Special Edition --- the first exclusive retailer to carry a Barbie Halloween gift set. Both dolls are dressed as pirates for the costume parade contest, and the detail is impressive.

Barbie wears a red bandana kerchief, a red, white and purple pirate dress with gold cross-lacing, a purple sash, red striped fringe hem, boots, gold earrings and rings, and carries a jack-o-lantern pumpkin bag. Ken wears a large black pirate hat with skull and crossbones, eye patch, dark vest with gold trim, purple top, red sash, and red-and-white striped trousers.

Includes: Barbie doll in pirate costume, Ken doll in pirate costume, 2 goblets, hairbrush.
