The Barbie as Rapunzel Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is the first entry in the Children's Collector Series — the Spring ornament line that recreated the Barbie Children's Collector Series doll in miniature form. Rapunzel wears a shimmering full-length gown in icy blue with a pink bodice and gold accent trim, topped with a tall gold conical hat with fabric veil, and carries the long blonde braid that nearly reaches her feet. The figure is handcrafted resin with fabric elements for the veil and sheer trim. Sculpted by Anita Marra Rogers, dated 1997.

The Children's Collector Series Hallmark ornaments were released as part of the Spring collection rather than the Christmas range — an unusual positioning that gave them a distinct calendar identity from the main Hallmark Barbie ornament series. Rapunzel as the inaugural entry established the series' approach: faithful miniature recreation of the doll's costume in resin with fabric accent elements, presented in the cream pastel Keepsake box with the Children's Collector Series branding.
