The Jacket Made It an Occasion and the Gown Made It a Statement

The gown alone is a considered thing — black velvet with silver diamond embossing, a white lace ruffle at the neckline and a full silver lamé skirt that pools with real intention — but the separate silver snowflake brocade peplum jacket with dramatic black faux fur collar and cuffs turns the whole ensemble into something that reads as genuinely accomplished.

The back of that jacket is worth mentioning: the silver brocade floral pattern is every bit as detailed from behind as it is from the front, the kind of finishing that makes this set feel like it was designed to be looked at from every angle.
