Washable Hair Colour for Bath Time and She Arrived Looking Like a Disco Bubble

Released in 1995, Foam 'n Color Barbie was Mattel's answer to the age-old question of what happens if you let a child give their Barbie a temporary pink rinse in the bathtub. She comes with a bottle of washable foam-in hair colour and an applicator, designed specifically for bath-time use — all colour washes out, which is either the best or the most optimistic design decision depending on your child.

The doll herself is dressed in an iridescent pink strapless top and matching skirt, with long voluminous blonde hair ready to receive her transformation. The bubble-print packaging leans fully into the bath theme, and the full set of foam accessories is intact and sealed.
