Secret Hearts Ken Wore a Fuchsia Tuxedo to a Gala and Was Clearly Right to Do So

This is the 1992 Secret Hearts Ken in his shimmery fuchsia tuxedo — iridescent lapels, matching bowtie, silver hair, bright blue eyes, and the bold-fashion-choices energy that the early 90s Barbie gala sub-lines brought to the Ken releases with complete seriousness. The iridescent lapels catch the light in the way that only early-90s formal wear attempted.

This Ken spent his life in a glass display cabinet as part of a Barbie museum collection in the USA, which means he was handled considerably less than most dolls of his era. He was packed down when the collection was stored and has come directly from there.
