The 1991 Uncanny X-Men Wolverine is Logan in his classic brown and tan costume — the one he wore before yellow became the default, and the one that a significant portion of the fanbase still considers the definitive look. The snap-out claw mechanism is the central feature, and it works in the spring-loaded way the 90s toy industry was very confident about.

The brown suit predates the yellow one by over a decade in the comics, which made this figure feel like a correction to those who felt the yellow version had always been the wrong answer to the question of what Wolverine should look like.
