Eric the Sailor Is the Companion Piece to Ariel and He Arrives in His Naval Whites With a Red Sash

Eric the Sailor was released in 1991 by Tyco as the male companion doll to their Disney's The Little Mermaid Ariel range, depicting Prince Eric in the naval uniform he wears throughout much of the 1989 film - the white shirt with gold trim and red sash that Ariel first sees when she rescues him after the shipwreck. The 12-inch poseable doll comes with his dress uniform jacket, pants, and boots, displayed in Tyco's distinctive tall window box with Ariel and Flounder artwork at the base.

Eric the Sailor was Tyco's 1991 companion to Ariel, dressed in naval whites with red sash - the outfit he's wearing when Ariel first finds him washed ashore.
