Product Description

The Banana Split Playset gave Cupcakes collectors a second dessert counter to build out.

Like its Sundae Surprise sibling, this set paired a themed doll with a matching food-stand backdrop, part of a wave of confection-branded dolls competing for shelf space in the late 1980s. The banana split motif ran through the moulded accessories, from the dish shape to the toppings.

It shares its UK collection provenance with the rest of this Cupcakes group, kept for display rather than play for most of its life.

Please note: This set is complete and includes the two box cutouts from the original packaging - not the full box, just the two cutout panels. This has been displayed only.
