Maniac Leader of the Rat Pack

No one knows where he came from, and Rat King seems happy to keep it that way. The self-proclaimed ruler of the Ratocracy, this bandage-wrapped, hollow-eyed villain hypnotises his rodent subjects through flute playing and rules his sewer kingdom against all comers --- including Shredder, who he considers a rival rather than an ally. When Splinter himself falls under his spell, you know Rat King is operating at a different level of menace to the average Playmates bad guy.

Released in 1989 as part of the second wave of TMNT figures, Rat King came with a deluxe weapons assortment that includes his Royal Ratbow crossbow, the Rat Hook, and the Snakebelt --- each a specific piece of his rotten, rat-infested mythology. The figure features a Wacky Waist-Twisting Action function built into the sculpt. A highly sought-after villain in the classic Playmates line.
