Barbie and the Rockers launched in 1986 as Mattel's answer to Jem and the Holograms --- Barbie as a rock star, with a full band, music videos and the most spectacular hair the decade had to offer. The Video Variety edition of this 1987 Golden Books Sticker Fun puts the Rockers in a jungle setting, with Barbie in a pink sarong centre stage, bandmates Dana and Derek with guitar and maracas behind her. Pre-cut lick-and-stick stickers throughout.
