Product Description

The Only Guy in the Band and He Absolutely Dressed the Part

Derek was the sole male member of the original Rockers lineup — a bold pink printed blazer over a lime green shirt, dark trousers and the kind of late-eighties rock-band confidence that required no further explanation — and the first release packaging included an iron-on decal and guitar that made him a complete set in his own right.

Derek occupied an interesting position in the Barbie universe: officially described by Mattel as just a very good friend of Barbie, which satisfied everyone who needed clarification and no one who was paying attention to the lime green shirt, the guitar and the pink blazer.

Includes: Derek doll, printed blazer, shirt, trousers, tie, T-shirt, shoes, hairbrush, guitar and iron-on decal.

Please note: The box has wear and there is vivid writing on one side. He is brand new and has never been removed from his box.
