Tooter Is the Snorks Musician — but in This One He Has Put Down the Horn and Picked Up a Quill

Tooter is usually the one who communicates entirely through his snork horn, so Schleich posing him with a quill pen is a very specific character choice for a 1984 PVC figure.

Schleich produced the Snorks range in 1984 alongside the Saturday morning cartoon, giving each character multiple activity variants. The poet variant is one of the less expected for Tooter — he has no particular literary reputation in the show — which is what makes it the most interesting figure in the line to explain to someone who has not seen it before.
