Grumpy Bear is from Kenner's 1982 Care Bears poseable PVC figure range — blue with a rain cloud belly badge and an expression that confirms the badge is not ironic. He is approximately 3.5 inches tall with poseable arms.

Grumpy Bear is the most honest Care Bear. Where the others project sunshine and hearts, Grumpy has a rain cloud and makes no apology for it. The Kenner figure gets the expression right — it is not angry, it is simply the face of someone who finds most things mildly disappointing — and the blue body with the cloud badge is one of the most recognisable combinations in the original range.
