Brenton Rudy Is the Cabbage Patch Kid Who Was Designed to Hang on Your Wall and Somehow Still Works on a Shelf

The 1983 Pin-Ups series was a distinct collector format — a soft barnyard-themed frame designed for both wall and tabletop display, with Brenton Rudy in his denim overalls and red-and-white striped shirt looking entirely at home in either context. The red bandana pattern and the whole barnyard framing make this one of the more characterful entries in the early CPK range.

The Pin-Ups line arrived alongside the original adoption doll craze and offered a different way to engage with the characters — display-first, wall-friendly, and considerably easier to find shelf space for than a full-sized doll.
