The Skull-Faced Lord of Destruction Who Defined What It Meant to Be Evil in Every 1980s Playroom

Skeletor is the undisputed icon of the Masters of the Universe line — blue-skinned, purple-hooded, and armed with his ram-headed Havoc Staff, He-Man's nemesis since the very first wave in 1981 and still one of the most recognisable action figure villains ever produced. This is a mixed-variant example: a 1984 Mexico-produced body with a Taiwan 1983-stamped chest piece and belt — a combination that turns up in the wild and reflects the international complexity of MOTU production during the line's peak years.

The head is sticky to the touch and there is a slight pink mark on the left elbow, both noted here and visible in the photographs — because this is the original Skeletor, and he deserves an accurate introduction.
