For a character who has spent most of his career as a supporting act in Barbie's world, being handed a lead role in one of the most beloved films ever made is a significant promotion. The series was positioned as a collector edition from the start, with screen-accurate references throughout each doll.

The casting works because Ken and the Cowardly Lion share a quality that neither of them would particularly want to discuss: they are both at their best when they stop trying to be impressive and just commit to the bit. The 1999 Wizard of Oz series is consistently one of the most sought-after licensed Barbie collector releases, and the Cowardly Lion is the character most collectors reach for first.

Manufacturer: Mattel
Country of manufacture: Indonesia
Model #: N6562/6563
Please note that this item has not been tested as to its working condition due to it being sealed and new in box.
This item requires batteries.
