Honor Blackman had left Cathy Gale in The Avengers specifically to take the Goldfinger role, which gives this particular Bond girl a career backstory that most of the others do not have. She arrived knowing exactly what she was doing and the film is better for it.

The Black Label Barbie Loves Bond series was a collector project with a genuine understanding of its source material - each doll referenced a specific film and a specific character rather than a generic Bond-adjacent aesthetic. Pussy Galore from Goldfinger is the entry in the series that Bond film collectors and Barbie collectors both pursue independently, which is the clearest sign that the collaboration actually worked.

Manufacturer: Mattel
Country of manufacture: China
Model #: R4465
Melody Likes box condition grade: Pristine - View our box condition guide
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0709/4504/6718/files/2009-barbie-black-label-barbie-loves-bond-pussy-galore-doll-1.jpg?v=1790568529
