Collector series that carry over a year always split opinion - some collectors consider the original release the only version worth having, while others are quietly grateful that a second window existed for pieces they missed the first time around.

For Wizard of Oz set builders, the 2000 Tin Man fills a specific gap in the collector record, and the packaging difference makes it a distinct piece from the 1999 release rather than a straight duplicate. The funnel hat has appeared in every adaptation of the story since 1902 and it has never once looked wrong. That is a remarkable run for a piece of headwear.

Manufacturer: Mattel
Country of manufacture: Indonesia
Model #: 25815
Melody Likes box condition grade: Excellent - View our box condition guide
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0709/4504/6718/files/2000-barbie-wizard-of-oz-tin-man-doll-1.jpg?v=1790558047
